This is a Brightly Colored Green Pillow
"If you want a green pillow, you're in the right place!"
Why would you want a green pillow? If it’s because you love the color, then that’s fine. If it’s for seasonal purposes like Christmas, then I urge you to reconsider. Why is this the case? The thinking behind this is that decorative cushions are not very modern or contemporary. Changing up your living room and bedroom pillows for every season can quickly become such a hassle that you’ll end up not wanting to do it anymore.
Pretty soon, the covers, accent cases, and goose down throw pillows will follow. You will not feel like keeping them up and having them look nice, and because of this they will look like big cheap overstuffed cloths. Is that what you’re after? I can hardly imagine that being the case.
It’s hard to believe that this can all come from simply getting a green pillow, I know. You’re just going to have to trust me on this, though. Is it true for other colors like yellow, blue, red, black, pink, or white? Possibly, but because green (and especially paired with red) means Christmas to so many people, if you have it out at the end of December you better switch them out right after. There’s no leeway like there is with other seasons.
Instead, think of all the great things you can do with green throughout the year. You won’t have to try to learn how to wash anything with it, because it’s an easy color to deal with. They look beautiful when paired with brown or yellow, and they can have a very clean, fresh, feeling. I still love going into homes that have made use of this fantastic color. It feels almost as though you’re still outdoors, running through a forest. However, you don’t have to deal with the insects. It’s a great feeling, and if you want to, you can have it for yourself.
So remember, go out there and get started. Go to the store but keep in mind that you won’t have to worry about it only being a seasonal thing.
